As our country takes great strides in its economic and social development, there is little change when it comes to people’s attitudes towards menstrual health & hygiene. A woman in our society still faces a lot of shame and unwanted ridicule because of her naturally occurring menstrual cycle. 

To increase awareness about menstrual health and to promote a healthy lifestyle, Ashwin Malik Meshram Foundation organized a Sanitary Pad Donation Drive with Mr. Gautam Sable, ex-Corporator, Thakkar Bappa Colony. Our counselors educated the women on various topics like PCOD, postpartum depression, etc. They explained some healthy menstrual habits and ways in which one can maintain good personal hygiene. At the end of the session, a 3-month supply of sanitary pads was provided to each woman in attendance.
