In India, more than 70 percent of women use unhygienic ways to manage their periods. Majority of women in India use primitive products like toilet paper, old towels, socks, or newspapers owing to the fact that they do not have access to sanitary supplies or they are unable to purchase it due to financial constraints. 

To educate women about safe & hygienic lifestyle, Ashwin Malik Meshram Foundation in collaboration with Rani Yerunkar, from Bharari Foundation, organized a Sanitary Pad Donation Drive in Chunabhatti. Our volunteers encouraged women to inculcate healthy menstrual habits and ways in which they can maintain good personal hygiene during their menstrual cycle. 150+ women participated in the session and 3-month supply of sanitary pads was provided to each woman in attendance.
