COVID-19 pandemic resulted in very grave financial consequences for low-income families. Many got drawn into debt traps as they borrowed beyond their means. The need for low-income families to take insurance, therefore, must be a vital part of India’s financial inclusion plan.

To provide financial security, AMM Foundation sponsored the Accidental Life Insurance Policy with coverage of Rs. 2 Lakhs under the government's initiative “Pradhan Mantri Surakhsa Bima Yojna'' for 150+ people in attendance. The drive took place in collaboration with Rashmi Indulker at Sable Nagar in Tilaknagar, our volunteers also helped people to open Jan Dhan accounts and consulted them about various governments financial schemes.
