The measures taken to contain COVID-19 are stringent and affect poor households, including job loss, loss of remittances, higher prices, rationing of food, disruptions to health care services and education. While the impacts will be felt by most households, they will likely be deeper and longer-lasting among the poor. To stop the spread of the virus, vaccine rollout began in India with some age restrictions, people are hopeful and ecstatic about the same but many people are unaware about the process to get the vaccine.
