The pandemic has left many rickshaw drivers unemployed and struggling for economic stability. Making ends meet is the hardest task they face in today’s date. To tackle this situation and help the ones who have been affected adversely, the government initiated the Autorickshaw Financial Assistance Scheme.

Ashwin Malik Meshram Foundation contributed to this by conducting a registration drive for rickshaw drivers. The registration signs them up for an amount of Rs. 1,500 that will help them a bit with their finances in these tough times. More than 120 rickshaw drivers attended the drive to get themselves registered.
