AMM Foundation successfully conducted drive for Autorickshaw Financial Assistance Scheme at Panjarpole, Govandi.

Due to pandemic lockdown, public transport drivers specially autorickshaw drivers faced a huge financial crisis. It became a big task for them to meet their day-to-day needs. Even though the lockdown has become lenient and public transport has started running, they are still facing similar issues due to the fear in public to travel in public transport. In order to help them overcome this crisis, the government initiated the Autorickshaw Financial Assistance Scheme.

Ashwin Malik Meshram Foundation took another step ahead by contributing to this initiative by conducting a registration drive for autorickshaw drivers. On registering, they would be granted an amount of Rs 1,500 to carry out their daily needs. More than 120 autorickshaw drivers attended the drive and got themselves registered.
