Ashwin Malik Meshram Foundation works towards various social causes and believes that education is the steppingstone for any individual to empower themselves and to create social change.

Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life; means, because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one's rights, and in the process evolve as a better citizen.

India is home to the largest population of 287 million illiterate adults in the world. This amounts to 37% of the global total. Many of our students drop out of school due to poverty, lack of facilities and lack of opportunities. In a country like India, getting an education and securing a lucrative job is still the only hope of many families. Education paves a way for a better life, and we believe that everyone should receive a schooling no matter what their economic background may be.

Our children are the future of our nation. For a developing country like India, development of underprivileged children holds the key to the progress of the nation itself, and their education is the cornerstone of this progress. With proper education and guidance, these children and youth can use education as a steppingstone to build a better future for themselves and improve the lives of those around them.
